Since building our retirement home in 1996 we have tried unsuccessfully to create an attractive transition from our yard to the adjoining woods. What a delight it has been to have finally found the perfect answer at New England Arbors.
The picture was taken several months after completing the project. We’re pleased with how quickly the Wisteria has grown and hope it blooms next year.
I did the assembly myself and found the instructions made for a fun project.
My wife joins me with a big “thank you” for adding to the beauty of our yard.

 We live on a barrier Island in central Florida called Flagler Beach. We decided to keep as much natural vegetation on our lot for privacy due to the fact that the island has become a popular tourist destination, yet that natural vegetation didn't allow for a comfortable gathering or resting area except for our hammock!
Then we discovered New England Arbors and saw so many beautiful pictures on their site of Pergolas, and how the simple structure and design could create an entire outdoor living space, with the least impact to the environment, and their materials were not only structurally wind tolerant, but salt tolerant also!
We found our local retailer, bought one and erected it in one weekend, including a concrete pad patio. We now have a private, shaded gathering and resting spot with shade during the hot, humid and hazy summer days. I think we spend more time under our pergola outside, than we do in the house now!
Day or night, it's our favorite spot...and we consider this one of our best decisions made at our ocean property in Flagler Beach! The materials hold up in the direct ocean air and stormy winds!!!!!! Thank you so much New England Arbors!

 My wife and I recently purchased a pergola by New England Arbors, which we mounted on a patio in front of our home. We live in a community where people spend more time in front of their homes than the backyard.
We built a retention wall surrounding two sides of the pergola with an old rustic look to complete the Tuscan feel we were looking for. As you will see, we added a beautiful water fountain and furniture to enjoy early mornings and late evenings.
We have entered our home and pergola patio on “Rate My Space: Home and Garden” and have received hundreds of compliments on our pergola.
